The association was founded to support an orphanage established in Toliara (Madagascar) whose management is entrusted to a local Christian organization.
In France, the Board of directors of LA COS (un coeur pour l'orphelinat Soavina) has under its supervision an executive committee composed of a President, a Secretary and a Treasurer to manage this activity. These three voluntary officials of the office have the obligation to give an account of their management once every three months to the Board, in accordance with the statutes of the association
One has the choice of supporting the orphanage either by gifts, or by sponsorship, or quite simply by membership. One can also contribute your share by your advice, your competences or by making profitable your relational contacts. Forms intended for these various purposes are envisaged on the site. We would like to stress that any charitable donation in favour of the orphanage gives the systematic right to its giver the privileged title of " Soavina family ".
Ultimately, the association COS (un coeur pour l'orphelinat Soavina) is a simple tool in the service of the Soavina Orphanage to help it to enhance its mission towards these orphans of the town of Toliara. All its wish is to gain a multitude of support in favour of this orphanage.
